The Semiconductor Device Research Laboratory (SDRL) is mainly involved in nanoscale material engineering and its fabrication toward semiconductor device applications such as UV and IR photodetectors, solar cells and sensors.  

The initial assistance of laboratory equipment was given by Prof. Choi at Chonbuk National University of the Republic of Korea and TWAS Research Grants Programme.
